Good Hope Baptist Church was established in 189x as a mission work from near by Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In its 100 plus year existence, Good Hope has ministered in the Blair community on the outskirts of Timpson. Good Hope is a group of baptized believers who have covenanted together to carry out the Great Commission presented by Jesus Christ in Matt. 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15.
We seek to love others and introduce them to Christ as savior. We seek to facilitate the growth of individuals’ relationships with God, each other and our community.
